Born in the region known to most as the Forests of Valara, Christopher was born to a humble home, His father, Peter Mytias, was a fierce believer in tradition and his mother, Theodoroa Valens, and was deeply devoted in the animistic beliefs of the forests, be it in the trees, rivers and rocks.
Christopher originally studied in a small religious school which had strict principles and beliefs, but even then, Christopher always found a way around those rules and caused mischief, he truly hated such inflexible and unreasoning tradition. So by the age of twenty, after the death of his father, he ran away from home and made his way to the legendary Steam City.
The sights, noises and extravagance of Steam City on his first visit was almost indescribable, the sight of such advancements in the sciences and technologies moved back and forth in his mind then came the thought: If such advancements can help Steam City become the power it is today, could it be a way to save his old homeland from its strict beliefs?
Then he started studying as much as he could, eventually finding education in Steam City’s Cadet School, though he dropped out after a few years due to his lack of coin. He found work as a librarian in a small library, and decided to become an irregular student of Political Science and Law in a small College where he graduated with honors.
When he reached his adult years, he wrote a few books on modernization and tradition, and how such two ideas would be conflicted. Then he heard his old friend, Edwards Longbow, had retired politics and has left a letter of recommendation to King Robert with Christopher’s name on it, with such news, Christopher immediately packed his things and made plans for his return to Valara after nearly two decades of self-exile.
It was time to come home.
