Born April 16th, 2009, Hannah Kaylee Carter was a very lively little girl. She had an older sister, Rachel, who she adored. Since she was a baby, Rachel had been telling her secrets, and she was very easily her best friend. Their mother was named Ashley, and she was a beautiful woman with red hair and blue grey eyes. Hannah had the same eyes as her mother, something that has been pointed out many times. She has always loved the stars. Since she was a toddler, she would go outside and just stare up into the night sky. Stars fascinated her, because they were so far away. Rachel had explained that they were so far away that it’d take days to get to them, and she liked that. To her, it was as if the stars were part of another world. Plus, they twinkled. Twinkling things were also good. 
The child had a few friends at school that she would visit, or that would visit her. Of course, as with most children, everyone was invited to everyone’s birthday parties. But Hannah didn’t find the same type of friendship in any of them as she did with Rachel. She didn’t see a problem with that. Her sister lived in her house and talked to her even on weekends and when it was summer, so why shouldn’t she favor her over other children? It was incredibly likely that her outlook would change though, once Rachel graduated high school.
