As the Guardian of Death, Isaac resides over the Underworld. To the rest of the world Isaac is just another citizen within the Vortex, few outside of the Guardians know who he truly is and even fewer know his true name. 

He holds no love or hatred for the creatures above his home, be the human, werewolf or any other race. To him they are all just souls bound for the Underworld. To him, his job as the reaper of souls is nothing but a chore he must carry out as his part in the protection of the Vortex.

Although he spends the majority of his time within the underworld he will occassionaly leave the world, taking on a form of his choosing from the souls he has taken, from there he watches over the living and is able to judge the lifespan of the people he meetings, ocassionaly forseeing their deaths. When he knows a person is soon to die he will visit that person in his true form, whether it be in person or in their dreams. His appearance is a coming sign of that persons impending death, and he holds no sympathy or room for the person to escape deaths embrace. 

During battle Death has a number of skills at his disposal and is no easy feat to defeat. He can use a variety of different swords and will often switch in the middle of battle. He also has the ability to teleport but this skill can only be used when his own weapons are in their sheaths, making it useless within combat, but he makes up for it with his ability to summon the souls of the dead to come to his aid should he need it.
