Micah was adopted by Stan and Eric Caron when she was an infant. the couple brought her back to their humble farm and raised her. Micah grew up with a large place in her heart for animals. She loved caring for the chickens, the cows, pigs, all of them. But her favorites, however, were the horses. 

Micah loved to ride her horse, Pepper, along the acres of their farm. It always made her feel so free. One magical day, the young girl was riding along the outskirts of their property, when Pepper heard an unusual sound. Naturally curious, Micah urged Pepper onward to investigate. The gray mare came across a young black stallion. The 10-year-old girl carefully got off her horse and approached the little thing. It took a little while, but Micah finally gained the little thing's trust. When it finally approached, Micah discovered that the stallion was actually a Pegasus, and a badly injured one at that. So, Micah loaded the little Pegasus onto Pepper and brought her back to her dads. 

While they were hesitant at first, Micah managed to convince her parents to let the Pegasus stay. They kept the Pegasus in the same stall as Pepper, as she had grown to love the young thing. Micah personally oversaw her treatment and recovery. When the Pegasus was fully healed, Micah decided to give her the name Mirai.

Micah continued to care for Mirai for years, keeping her hidden from anyone who wasn't to be trusted. Pepper became Mirai's adoptive mother, and the entire scene made the girl's heart flutter. Unfortunately, Micah had to be pulled away from her precious horses for a bit once she started Metro High. Regardless of how busy she's become, she still finds time to take care of her precious girls. 

In school, Micah made a bit of a reputation for being an aloof student. She came off as standoff-ish to most. But that all changed when she discovered basketball. Micah didn't expect much after tryouts. But after making the team, her demeanor did a complete 180. The sport gave her an opportunity to come out of her shell and even make new friends. 

Now 15, Micah loves to hang with her basketball friends as well as help her fathers with their farm. She still keeps Mirai a secret, only wanting to show her to someone she can truly trust.
